This SEAT Alhambra visited us due to limp mode and an engine management light displayed. Initially we ran a diagnostic test using VAG OEM ODIS diagnostics, this returned an O2 sensor fault.

Both of the fault codes above were present an the local seat dealership quoted over £600 to solve the issue as a replacement Nox sensor was the only way to resolve this issue. Knowing this was untrue we advised the customer and got to work on the solution.
Firstly we removed and cleaned the sensor and then logged the data (signal) from the NOx sensor. After cleaning we found a slight improvement but this did not cure the fault straight away. Using our programming skills we managed to cure the issue in just over 4 hours and saving the customer over £300 against the cost of the main dealer.
