Recently we have seen a number of faulty Mercedes ECU’s ranging from vehicles aged from 2000 to 2018. We are able to test and diagnose internal ECU faults, Internal ECU faults can come around due to water damage, heat damage or a software conflict.
Mercedes use 2 key brands for ECU’s and these 2 key ECU brands are Bosch and Delphi we are very familiar both Bosch and Delphi control units. We have full Mercedes Xentry and Mercedes Star diagnostics to initially diagnose an ECU Fault.
Direct ECU Testing and diagnosis is slightly more in depth than just reading fault codes are even erasing faults. We use a full bench setup to communicate with internal ECU chips.
