Recently we have had this VW CADDY in with a faulty instrument cluster. The instrument cluster was diagnosed but a local garage as the unit would power down randomly and have intermittent non starting issues. We confirmed the fault using Volkswagen odis and removed the EEP that was damaged. We ordered the customer a used instrument cluster and coded this to the vehicle using ODIS and GEKO online coding. After programming the new working cluster we then soldered a blank eeprom to the faulty cluster for the customer to use as spare. The blank eep can be coded to any vehicle again using ODIS Online.
