Porsche specialist diagnostics using Porsche PIWIS 3 OEM and PIWIS Online diagnostics. This 997 911 was booked in for a mobile service requiring a headlight to be coded and programmed. The customer was based near Stansted in Essex and took advantage of our fully mobile diagnostic, coding and programming service for Porsche.
The customer had fitted a new headlight after a close encounter with a deer, the headlight was non operational as it requires coding and a basic setup procedure before it can be seen on the network.
Firstly we ran a full PIWIS porsche diagnostic scan to ensure we had the full picture and could notify the customer of any additional faults. After the diagnostic test we then set about programming the new headlight, After 25 minutes the headlight was programmed. Next we used the basic setting function to set up the headlight and beam pattern. All in all the job took around 1 hour to complete without the need to visit a Porsche main dealer.
