Today we visited a Toyota Hilux with P062F as a fault code this code relates to the internal eeprom chip. This memory is only readable this means the data can ONLY be read, you cannot delete the code you will only be able to read it.
So as you are only able to view this fault the ECU must be replaced and re coded. For this particular vehicle we will source a used ECU and programme to the vehicle appropriately. A new unit comes in at £1200 plus vat we can source a working used ECU and code for less than half the cost of the part fully programmed and coded.
