Recently we have had a Ford Transit that came into us from auction, the transit arrived a non starter with a suspected key fault on further investigation we found a number of diagnostic faults when we tested and investigated these faults we found that these all lead back to a faulty or damaged ECU / PCM.
This poor transit had been to a number of local garages in Ipswich and in Norwich not one could diagnose or come to any reasonable conclusion of what had happened and where the fault may lie. We tested all canbus systems, wiring, fuses and relays. Our auto electrical experience was tested with this cheeky transit after a day of running diagnostic tests, coding keys and testing voltage all over the place we finally found the ECU to be faulty.
