BMW CAS faults are often indicted by a NON start situation or of course CAS faults stored in the memory. CAS SYNC can be identified by the vehicle not cranking (most common). This non starting or cranking can often be solved by re syncing the CAS > DME / DDE. Other issues can be indicated by the cranking but not starting many of these issues will require the CAS to be repaired or if essential replaced and re programmed.
